About Us

WeatherTec was founded in the early 1970’s by a group of farmers and investors. William H. Rogers, a grower in the south valley, soon after that, bought the entire company. Rogers was farming more than 22,000 acres in Bakersfield, Lost Hills, and Cantua Creek. He was doing well, but after meeting with a salesperson from WeatherTec, changed his operations over to their impact sprinklers.

The result was so superior, and he liked the product so much that he bought the company. WeatherTec was originally owned by a group of farmers and investors, until purchased by Bill Rogers and is still family-owned and operated with Bill’s son Nick Rogers as President.

Unlike other sprinkler and irrigation company products, WeatherTec designs only for the agricultural industry. No turf, no commercial landscaping – only agriculture. Sprinklers are much more efficient than furrow irrigation. And, with the right products, it can be just as effective and efficient as drip irrigation.

Each and every sprinkler is individually water-tested to insure consistent performance and help customers make the best use of their limited water resources. Everyone at WeatherTec, from the President to the newest assembly person is driven to produce high-quality, durable, and efficient sprinkler irrigation products for growers and ag product dealers.

DOUBLE-BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION designed to give maximum strength to the head and minimize lever/fulcrum pin misalignment.

SKIRTED HEAD for extra strength and to provide a positive machined upper-bearing seal surface.

ENGINEERED WATER PASSAGE individually designed to produce the optimum hydraulic cross-section for each given head. Significantly reduces internal turbulence to insure quality water stream, for precise application and uniformity.

TAPERED BRASS NOZZLES with smooth micro finish bore provides maximum sprinkler diameter and superior sprinkler performance. A variety of nozzles are available for most sprinkler models. A wide selection of low angle and special-purpose nozzles in the industry offers the system designer the greatest degree of flexibility and efficiency of design.

POSITIVE DRIVE LEVER with a deep-channel, I-beam construction and wide-impact area for durability and extended wear on impact surfaces. The lever hood acts as a dust cover to prohibit lever-bearing-surface contamination.

STAINLESS STEEL FULCRUM PIN and SPRINGS extend component life. Corrosion and wear are minimized.

EXCLUSIVE STAINLESS STEEL SPINDLE insures longer wear, greater structural integrity, and significantly improved pressure-friction-loss characteristics.

T-RING BEARINGS are designed to provide maximum life expectancy and consistent speed of rotation. Individual models are equipped with the best bearing assemblies for their intended application. No attempt is made to force a single standard bearing type into all applications. All bearings contain replaceable seals and are interchangeable, size by size, throughout the product line.

100% FACTORY WATER-TESTED to insure that all Weather-Tec Sprinklers will yield optimum performance for years to come. EVERY sprinkler head is tested, by hand, in our facility in Fresno, California.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS: No order placed with WeatherTec shall be considered as accepted until officially acknowledged in writing by WeatherTec. The terms and conditions stated herein shall constitute the entire sales agreement between the parties, and any contrary or additional terms and conditions submitted by parties other than WeatherTec, shall be deemed to be of no effect. WeatherTec reserves the right to select its own customers and the right to reject any order.

DELIVERY: WeatherTec shall not be liable for any delay or default in delivering products when occasioned by any cause of any kind or extent beyond the control of WeatherTec, including without limitation, armed conflict or economic dislocation resulting there from, embargoes, labor difficulties, civil disorders of any kind, action of civil or military authorities (including priorities and allocations), fires, floods and accidents, and shortages of labor, raw materials, fuel energy, production facilities or transportation. It is intended that no liability shall be sustained by WeatherTec by reason of its not filling any order or portion thereof affected by any such occurrence.

PRICES & FREIGHT: All prices are subject to change without notice.  Prices are F.O.B. shipping point, transportation pre‐paid and allowed for any single shipment of $5,000 net or more to one destination in the Continental United States. For lesser orders products will be shipped freight collect. TERMS OF

PAYMENT: Net 30 days. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied (an annual percentage rate of 18%) on all past due accounts. TAXES Any tax or other governmental charge upon the production, sale, or shipment of products imposed by federal, state, municipal, or other authorities shall be added to the price to be paid by the purchaser.

WARRANTY: All products sold are subject to the following warranty: WeatherTec warrants for a period of two years on all brass impact products, one year for all plastic products from the date the products are installed (if sufficient evidence of such date exists) that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. Other than the limited warranty set forth above, WeatherTec makes no other representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, in fact or in law, including without limitation the warranty or merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Every claim under this warranty shall be deemed waived unless it is in writing and is received by WeatherTec within thirty (30) days of the date the defect to which each claim relates is discovered or shall have been discovered.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: It is expressly understood and agreed that the limit of liability of WeatherTec shall be, at the sole option of WeatherTec, repair or resupply of a like quantity of non‐defective product and that WeatherTec shall have no such liability except when the damage results solely from the breach of the WeatherTec warranty. It is also agreed that WeatherTec shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or other damages for any alleged negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability, or any theory other than the limited liability set forth above. No person has the authority to waive, alter or add to the printed provisions of this warranty or to make representation of warranty not contained herein.

TITLE: Title to goods described herein shall remain in Weather‐ Tec until paid for in full by purchaser. However, risk of loss shall vest in the purchaser at the time of delivery of products to the carrier at the WeatherTec plant.

RETURNS: No return of products will be accepted without prior written approval.  WeatherTec will, on written authorized returns, charge 20% of the original purchase price for handling and restocking. Credit will be based upon the quantity received at the WeatherTec shipping point in resalable conditions, as determined by WeatherTec.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS: Cancellation request must be received at factory prior to order shipment. Items of special manufacture and large orders beyond normal purchase are not cancellable without written approval.

MODIFICATION OR TERMINATION: These terms and conditions of sale cancel and supersede all previous issues, supplements, and revisions and are subject to change without prior notice.
